While I'd be hard-pressed to say that all souls are worth going through some "cycle of rebirth" or whatever garbage theologists like to think... I do believe that destroying a soul has more fucked up implications than simply killing a living being. Killing I can do, easily and without equivocation. Destroying a soul, unless provoked, is another.
