There's something to be said about that... we all grapple with it. Although I'd be lying if I didn't have my own preference.

It's my nature, unfortunately, [ comes Matt's voice, a bit dryly. ] There's this concept where I come from of "a note that strikes without the two parts touching." It means you can create harmony out of two forces that seem to be in opposition, even violent opposition. You just have to find the right way.

I want to ask the people here how they feel about all this. And which way they want us to choose.

I know some of them feel strongly, but I don't have a sense for the region as a whole.

I hear some parts of the islands aren't particularly safe ... and I'm not much of a brawler, to put it mildly. I feel like the buddy system would be helpful.
