Entropy, [ Matt considers. ] Yeah ... entropy on steroids. Because a certain amount of entropy is necessary and even good, the way my world's scientists would've said it. It's "nature's tax." Or even just a way of saying that probabilistically, things are much more likely to not turn out the exact way you want them to.

This feels like ... a much higher tax than nature would normally levy.
