This is a post where you'll find a header in the comments for Aetós, Agapitos Voreen, and Florence Deshayes respectively.
As a reminder from our course correction, your OOC understanding of their places in their factions should not influence IC reactions, especially to Agapitos and Florence. Aggressive threats and demands are likely to be ignored, because this would be very out of the blue to them! ( You can be mean to Aetós, though. They're a dick, and they just won't respond. )
Timewise, Agapitos and Florence's posts are shortly after Shard-Bearers awake after the repose (roughly a day to give people a chance to get their bearings/go get a haircut/etc), and Aetós's portion is later in the month.
Please note, new tag-ins will not be responded to after April 23rd. However, tagging each other throughout this post is welcome. Threadjack to your heart's content!

I can't help finding myself curious about the way the city's split in two, or that's how it looks to me. What's the relationship like between those below and those up here? I know how it was like with Kowloon, but...
[ There follows the mental impression of a helpless shrug. ]
Do you count them among those Meridian would defend if they sought aid, for example?

If they wish to join us where it is safe, they will have to join us in the sky.

[ He can't pretend his own nation didn't wrest independence from the Empire long ago. It's not quite the same, but it gives him some perspective. ]
But they would be permitted refuge if they sought it?

The question you should ask yourself is: would they even want to? Many chose to remain, and continue to choose so. Some do join us, and they are welcomed as any citizen of Meridian. Many from Old Springstar visit.
However, asking them to simply move is quite a burden on them. They enjoy the city as it is, or they would change it, yes? They are not incapable of it, and we have never stopped them from doing so.

[ As for why they would, he couldn't say. ]
On that note, is there a good place to familiarize ourselves with Skysong's laws? I'd ask about defensive measures in place as well, but I expect that's not for someone of my station to know. [ His harmonization level... ] So I'll just say that I do have some background in defending against sieges, in case that's ever of use.

As for joining with the Legionary for tactics, perhaps if you accept Meridian, and become more highly known amongst us, we would seek you out. I'm afraid that we are more cautious than ever when it comes to those who have not deepened their connection, but should you choose to do so, you would be more than welcome.

[ But it is the sort of thing he makes it his business to know, given his odd, mixed background. ]
After what happened back then, I'd expect no less. I've discussed the matter with Hayame before, but then...well, we had one hell of a nap. And then a pretty disturbing little dream, one in which I ceased to even be me anymore. Still not sure what to make of all that, but...
[ He trails off. Focuses. They can tune in on each others' discussions, he knows, so this he directs only at the new (to him) Tribune. ]
If any of that was somehow real, the corruption within Zenith's upper echelons is something I'll never sympathize with... Not that I thought too kindly on that witch after what she did to defenseless townspeople.
[ Yima has been "that witch" to him ever since. ]

As for what she did, I agree. War is war, but that Zenith's forces strode into our streets is unconscionable. I will make them regret what they did to us.

[ He doesn't go in for that sort of thing anyway. A dream could be anything or nothing, with nothing he can conceive of to prove with certainty which it is.
So he thinks, anyway, at this juncture. ]
We're of like mind on that count. Where I come from, we'd been embroiled in war for a couple of years. Things happen, but some lines you just don't cross. Wish I could say justice found her as it should.

[ He says with certainty. ] They crossed the line, and they can reap the consequences for this crime. When we win in the end... it will be because they underestimated us, and because they thought we were weak.

[ Think of them as weak, as shackled to the past, rather than strengthened by having something to save. Something to protect.
His heart is very Faerghan.]At least we know we can use that to our advantage. [ Something the man clearly already knows though, so— ] Meantime...thank you for seeing to the peoples' safety. It may be your responsibility, but not every leader makes it a priority.
[ Credit where credit is due. He needn't take up too much of the Tribune's time, but it bore saying. ]

[ It's plain, and frank. He loves Skysong, and Meridian, that is true. It is expressed like the heat of a warm summer's day. Like the kind of summer that comes with family. ]
But I do hope you consider committing yourself more to our cause. I think our people would do well to have more leaders amongst you.
