[ if you’re lucky, you’ve never heard this voice before. if you have, you’ll probably notice that he seems considerably less grouchy than he did making his greeting rounds in springstar and highstorm. tony has had time to settle in, and more importantly, he’s made some big decisions about what side he wants to support here.

[ It's not like it matters, since indeed, that Zenite point of view makes it an irrelevant curiosity, but still. How odd to think that there may eventually not be. He has to wonder what his realm would do in that situation, but that too is just a curiosity. ]

My grandpa really wants us to go to Terra. We’ve sacrificed a lot to get there, but sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it. I mean, how great can one planet be?

[ It's just odd to think of people having the ability to come and go, really, at least unless it's how he does. Demons and other travelers between realms are cheating a bit, so physically doing so is just strange to think about. It's not beyond his understanding thanks to a year in Kenos, but it's still relatively new. ]
Well, I am a visitor to Earth myself, technically speaking. I suppose it depends on what you want from the place, but I have never found it lacking.

[ He says it like it's a curiosity and not at all something potentially dangerous for Tony, naturally... But at least for now, it is perfectly innocuous. He makes a thoughtful noise as he considers how to explain it without context. ]
Not a mutant, no. I am a creature from another realm—A separate world, if you would prefer to think of it that way, but it is indeed not another planet. It is merely an existence quite separate from humanity, normally.
[ Then with a light "ah", he adds: ]
Perhaps it is easier to simply say that I appear to be human, but that is a matter of convenience. I am not human at all.

[ He lapses into a thoughtful silence, since he’s not sure where to begin. The immediate answer that comes to mind is along the lines of “in every way”, but that’s not really a good answer. ]
Well, the physical, for one. I do not resemble humans in any way, and I am not limited by biology in the way they are. I do not age, get sick, or die, and it is not necessary for me to sleep or breathe. [ …So, the bad answer really is the best one, so with a little sigh, he adds: ] We are not alike in any way, really.

[ he’s not asking for the sake of battle; he’s, albeit a bit naively, just asking for pure scientific curiosity. ]

[ he’s not yet Lost In The Sauce, but yima was able to offer him his grandpa immediately, and cyrus was able to offer… the possibility of seeing his grandpa again, which just wasn’t certain enough for tony’s liking. ]

Ah, in that case, yes, I do believe we are. [ He’ll lie about it, since it’s easier. ] Or allies, at the very least.
[ The focus of Communion shrinks so that it’s for Tony alone. It’s probably not much of a necessary precaution, but with the subject, he’s cautious, even if he only plans to say half-truths. ]
In that case, I will admit that grievous injury unfortunately will dissipate me the same as any other… I have significant regenerative ability, but I suppose at a certain point it is too much. A shame, though. Where I am from, there is no man-made weapon that would have been able to truly injure me.

That might as well have been how we communicated, honestly. At least in some sense. Killing each other is what our whole society was structured around, so it would be inconvenient if our immortality applied at “home” too.
